Was a good thing I had the rear bumper off installing the trailer hitch. Was easy to plug everything together and install the module and ground. The hard part was running the power wire under the complete length of the vehicle to protect and keep it away from hot pipes to hook to the power supply

I got these after installing a hitch receiver on our Jeep Grand Cherokee L 2022. You'll definitely need to use an Internet tutorial to help install it. It's not overly difficult if you know much about cars. I know nothing and my father in law had to help me out. It fit our jeep just fine and everything plugged in easily where it should. There is a wire that will need to go all the way from the trunk under the jeep into the engine and attach to the battery. That was the most difficult part and you need some knowledge to know where it can/can't go. You'll also need to remove part of the back fascia to install. So if you're doing a hitch receiver you should add this at the same time. The quality is high and includes every piece you need to complete the project. The price on this is much lower than I was quoted at our local auto parts store. I've used it with a trailer 1 time and all the lights worked as they should.

I was skeptical to order due to reviews saying it won’t fit. Even Amazon warned that this was a frequently returned item. Anyways, it was $20 cheaper than the alternative so I decided to order it. The light plugs fit perfectly. The power cable is long enough to be routed underbody and all the way up to the battery + pole.Everything working perfectly on 2023 Jeep GCL

This was easy to install and a perfect fit for my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Removed the rear lights, unplugged the connector, plugged the trailer wire connector to the light and then plugged the light connector to the other end of the wire connector. Ran the black wire across the bottom of the frame and used the zip ties to secure it. Dropped a piece of wire through a section under the hood and pulled the wire up and connected it to the battery terminal. Works great so far and wire is good quality.

Was told this item would be the one for my jeep 2023 jeep grande Cherokee L when installer went to put on it did not fit proper had to send back. Do not buy for this vehicle.
