Used the scented tidy cats litter for awhile but the dust was too much and the urine never clumped up like it should. This is the second 16# bag I’ve bought since November. It really does last!Urine clumps up like a rock! Literally 0 dust! The smell is a lot when you first open the bag, but honestly I have noticed that with any scented litter. My 6mo male kitten doesn’t care, and is not sensitive to smells. The scent does die off after a few though. The tracking to me is the same as the tidy cats, however with this litter being like a finer grit sand texture..it does vacuum up and sweep up way easier to me.Yes it is a little expensive up front, but honestly is definitely worth it. Way less litter to waste, no more broken up urine pieces in the litter box to hold the urine smell like tidy cats.10/10 and 2 paws up!

This seems to be working well, my cats are definitely using the box with this in it. The consistency is like sand but it still clumps well and is easy to clean up.The smell is quite like perfume and a bit overwhelming for someone like me who is used to no-smell litter. I had to try something new though since the kind I was using was leaving my house smelling like litter boxes. This definitely masks the smell of my cat's boxes. Just wish it was a little less potent.

I experimented when my old litter stopped working. I filled several boxes with all different kinds of litter. This one was hands down my favorite. It's been 2+ months now, and the litter still clumps just as nicely as it did on day one. The clumps are hard and it desiccates the solid waste very well. It's lightweight so it scoops easily. Since the clumps don't break apart very easily you only scoop out waste, and it's cheaper in the long run. The only downside is the unique scent. It's not horrible, but it's strong so if you or your cats are sensitive, you may not like it. My cats, who have unscented litter available, do tend to use that over this, but they still use it. However, you NEVER smell ammonia in this litter, even if the box doesn't get scooped for a couple of days. All the other clay-based litters develop an ammonia smell in the same length of time. As my other litter brands run out, I'll replace them with this. It's a little pricy to start, but it's worth it.Edit to add: This is also the only litter I've ever used that doesn't generate dust! I noticed that today while scooping in a sunbeam. I am floored and pleased. The other lightweight clay litter box created a cloud!

I'll address all the reviews saying the scent was so powerful they had to move to the next county to escape it later on...But first: Yeah, this stuff is shockingly good. I know it's just cat litter, but holy cow is it nice to deal with. Light weight? Yeah. SUPER light weight. Like you almost feel you got ripped off when you first pick up the bag, but never fear. There's a ton of litter in there and this is lasting longer than anything I've ever purchased before and it's not even close. There is so little waste when you scoop that I am having to add more litter probably a third as often as I used to. Very nice, and a little surprising but there it is.Absorbency? Yeah, crazy absorbent. Wish it clumped into those cool little discs like the ad... haha... but no, it's more like big clumps with some small little worm shaped clumps. But everything is absorbed, absolutely no liquid urine of any kind anywhere. It's awesome. After scooping, you really feel like nothing is left in there.Dust free? Yep. First litter I've ever used where that was actually the truth. Pour the litter in and nothing billows up. At all. Well, ok, maybe something does but you'd need some special light to see it or something at the microscopic level. But yeah... the little layer of white dust that used to be on stuff in our laundry room is gone and has stayed gone. Booya.Ok... now to the scent. haha... Yep, it's got a bit of a flowery scent and especially when you first use it and are putting more in the box than you typically would on a refill. We keep our litter box in our laundry room which is only 9 x 5, and we keep the door closed (with a little cat door in it) to keep the dog out... so believe me if this stuff was horribly odorific, we'd know it in that confined space and guess what........ it's FINE. My wife does not like strong perfumey odors and even she said, "Yeah, it's got a bit of a scent but let's see if it dissipates some." and it did after a day or so.So all these people claiming their marriages were ruined, their house had to be razed to the ground, or they're seeing a medical doctor for nasal damage due to the "Garden Bloom" scent of this litter... well sometimes all you can do is say "bless their hearts." Every society has the "first to go in a zombie apocalypse" folks, so don't judge them too harshly; their lives are clearly already hard enough. The scent is fine. You will barely even notice it after a few days, and all the perks of this litter (it's seriously good, I'm honestly shocked at whatever this stuff is and how well it works) put this heads and tails above anything else I've ever tried.
