My favorite air file of any brand. Unfortunately mine did stop working after about 6months of hard use. After 2 months, it got stuck at wide open position. I still used it, just don’t sit it down it will run away lol.Definitely will speed up any fiberglass repair, short strike high rpm really allows it to chew through some materials.

I may never use the full size one again. Most of my work is on boat top-sides, and sanding semi-overhead is, well, muscle building, or exhausting. This sander does the job faster and with less work than anything I've ever used. You'll need to order self-stick paper but rolls on Amazon are a great way to start.Would I buy it again - - yeah, at least 3 times!

Terrific Straight Line Sander!This sander is more powerful than my long straight line sander.Great Customer Service from Astro Tools!The bottom pad was bent & I called the 1-800 phone number and they sent our a new one immediately.It is a very easy part to change out!

Only negative I can comment on is that my inline oiler doesn't seem to flow enough oil to it, causing squeaking and ultimately lock -up. Once an hour or two, I add some lubricant at the fitting, cycle tool and wipe up the rail.
