Works very well for my needs. Completely satisfied with purchase. Before you plan on building your first PC I highly recommend watching a bunch of YT tutorials because if you go in blind or just use the included manual you will get lost along the way at some point. Neway thanks Asus & Amazon :)

ASUS has fallen so far from grace for quality.I purchased this motherboard November 27, 2024 and it died Feb 8, 2025. The CPU socket completely fried and the board just completely died.Amazon refused to return as it was 7 days after the return window closed, and ASUS warranty is an AWFUL process. They had the nerve to ask me to pay $75 for a waybill to ship the dead motherboard to them (Keep in mind, it only lasted 2 months - and they offer a 3 year warranty)I did end up getting the shipping compensated after being escalated twice and standing firm on my stance at how ridiculous that is.Stay FAR AWAY from ASUS products, they are nowhere near where they used to be for quality. I wouldn't put this back in my computer if it was free.

Fit this in a Coolermaster NR200 case easily. Great thermal rating, high quality additions, and aesthetically pleasing. Can recommend for only premium builds as its still an expensive motherboard even on sale.

I am writing this review so that you can be assured it is an extremely good motherboard and has a good bios software installed. Functions perfectly well. Except for the poor build quality of the pcie 4.0 slot locking latch that is supposed to secure the gpu. I found it was partially broken upon receiving the motherboard and snapped the rest of the way off during carefully installing the gpu. I was able to still use the motherboard but unfortunately for me I am past the return date and asus support wouldn't warranty the board. I still recommend this board but the gpu after you install it don't upgrade because the lock will likely break off being made of flimsy cheap plastic. I am happy with the board otherwise and it has no other issues. Asus Tough! Not so tough.

Love the board, easy to set up and update. I was well overdue for a new build so this board fits the bill and does everything I want it to.

Works good, I don't care for one of the .m2 cards to be hidden away under the graphics card. I needed to replace one of my computer quickly so I bought this board. During the build I realized that I have been spoiled rotten with the ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero which does cost a lot more but is far superior. So basically this board is a lower end basic board which is low on additional features but for most users it will be good enough. The LAN is 2.5 GB and not 10 GB which in my case is a good thing because Linux works just fine, 10GB is not supported on most Linux bistros. The Hero motherboard requires a LAN USB dongle to connect to the network.Annoying that ASUS does not support Linux but less annoying than what windows has become.

This motherboard is really good if you are looking to build a PC for gaming and maybe some hobby stuff like video editing.HOWEVER, one major thing you must consider before buying this motherboard is -The bottom most PCIE slot and the Nvme slot SHARE THE SAME MOTHERBOARD CHIPSET EXPRESSLANE.Meaning: you can either use only one of the slots NOT BOTH.Consider this before buying. What problems can you face with this? Not much really.Lemme give you an example.Me personally, I am using the PCIE slot for a video capture card and I don't plan on using the Nvme slot.So if you are a gamer that wants all the storage and maybe wants to stream, this motherboard cannot offer both unless you decide to use another PC for streaming. It's either use the Nvme slot for storage or use the PCIE slot for other devices.Other than that, this motherboard is beautiful.

Coming from some other brand's horrid coil whine. (You will find which brand with searching B650+coil whine) Some say this is normal these days due to increased power consumption and variable driving voltage, etc etc. Nope, all lies! You should not hear coil whine when the system is idle!!And no, this board wasn't plagued by those 'bad' coils at all. As attached, it may not be perfect example, the OCCT stress fails to even instigate any coil noise from CPU side at all. And yes, my CPU is not a power hungry monster but the previous Gigabyte B650 was extremely noisy with coil whine. So, yes, if you're looking for a budget B650, definitely head into ASUS TUF although it is not exactly cheaper than any mATX boards. Yet, this board isn't more expensive than those 'high-end' gaming lineup. Here are some pros and cons.Pros:1. Now TUF is also providing the AIO PWM signal! TUF B560 didn't have it. But this newer generation seems to have the 4 pin slot for AIO.2. The CPU_OPT is still tied with the main CPU_FAN. Good for twin tower air cooling set up.3. Whopping 3 ARGB (5V 3pin) slots, still support 12V slots! It can be a budget, but we can still make it shine!4. XMP up to 6000 was no problem!5. VRM heatsink has stepping shape. I've installed a Thermalright Peerless Assassin (RGB variant) but it could hold even larger, i.e. Noctua DH-15, air cooler. But then again, I was able to put my hand into over the VRM heatsink to connect the CPU power cables!cons.1. It could be pros but half of USB 3.0 slots are C-type and they aren't all Thunderbolt. But these days, those PD charging cables are everywhere.2. The WiFi is not Intel, it is rather MediaTek MT7921 WiFi 6 (not E) I'm fine with not being 6E since 6E routers are expensive as heck anyway. But being MT7921 means Windows cannot automatically detect the WiFi card even after installation. You have to prepare a WiFi/Bluetooth driver separately. Also, considering what I've been through with Asus gaming laptops, it could cause some connectivity issue if you install older driver, didn't happen to me yet.3. Second PCI-E x16 slot becomes useless if you install 3 slot GPU, as seen in the picture. So, technically, the only expansion slot you can use, if you have a high-end gaming GPU, is the only tiny PCI x1 port. This is because the main PCI-E x16 slot is not located at the top slot.Yes, it is a bit budget side board with a few limitations. But it does its job fine. That other TUF I've mentioned was Intel B560 mATX and it is running fine under 24/7 running some simulation task since 2021 January. I should have went to TUF at the first.

I recently got my hands on this motherboard, and I'm thrilled to say that it has exceeded all my expectations. The best part? It's been a complete breeze from the moment I set it up. No hiccups, no need for updates or fixes - it just worked like a charm. What's more, the color scheme of gray and white fits perfectly with the aesthetics of my build. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and I recommend it to anyone seeking a dependable and stylish motherboard.

Has a heap of ports and is great quality for the price. The IO shield is already installed on the motherboard which makes things easier. Also has very easy m.2 SSD installation. Overall is a great price for the newest generation motherboard.
