Atlantis Threaded Premium Pool/Spa Replacement Filter for Arctic Spa 006541, Rising Dragon 50, PWW50L, Unicel 4CH-949, Filbur FC-0172, SD-01143, 817-4050, PDC570-AFS, Waterway Teleweir Spa FilterPerfect fit for arctic spa. These disposable filters are convenient and they work very well --- BUT make sure you monitor them carefully!!! if you use it too long, they break down and cause a huge mess in your tub because the material disintegrates and turns to sandy crumbs in your hot tub. To be honest, i recommend using this strictly 3mo MAX then replace immediately before you regret it. I find these Atlantis brand just as good as Silver Centennial ones that Arcticspa seems to promote... but a tad cheaper and best of all accessible via amazon prime --- The arcticspa promoted "Silver Centennial" brand are not found anywhere online so i end up having to drive out to the one store that has it in my city -- a far drive -- just to buy it at a terrible unfair price there. So i'm very glad these exist on Amazon!Having said that ---- though i love thhe convenience of disposable filters, actually i MUCH prefer pleated ones which last longer and dont disintegrate. I use THIS disposable one in the summer and regular pleated ones in the winter.fyi, the "pleated" filters that fit arctic spa is"4CH-949 Spa Filter Replaces Pleatco PWW50L, Filbur FC-0172, SD-01143, 817-4050, Rising Dragon 50" sold her on amazon marketplace. Specifically my arcticspa is the standard 1600L spa size with 6 seats.

We gave this a try as a cheaper alternative to the normal filter we get, but this was a case of getting what you pay for. After 2 days in our hot tub the filter came apart and we also started seeing white particles floating in the water. Would like to return but since it's waterlogged I'm not sure how I can send it back to the seller.

I have an Arctic Spa tub with threaded filters. This replacement one went in without any issues, perfect fit. I've had it in the tub for over a month now, and it works as well as the original ones had, keeping the tub's water clean. As one other reviewer has noted, I also had no issue with the filter falling apart. I also only use PH+ and Chlorine in my tub, nothing else, and have not seen any break down of the material. Like any tub you can damage parts by over-doing it on the chemicals you use.If you are looking for a cheaper replacement for those expensive OEM filters, I'd recommend these.

After reading about someone having an issue with it breaking down, I was a bit on the fence for trying this filter. But after a few days, I'm glad I did so far. It is not the pleated paper style, its almost more of a foam type material and it really seems to pull out to dirt in the water, it looks visible cleaner than it was in just a few days. I also check the filter and it is not breaking down at all.I wonder if the type of chemicals could be a factor, I use Boost, PH up and chlorine. So far this is working really good for me. I will update this review if I notice it break down, but I only have crystal clear water for now.
