I bought two radiators from autoshack and both needed slight modifications for it to work properly. I bought this radiator for my E46 and the coolant hose leaked a lot with the seals that were provided so I had to go to an auto parts store to get thicker seals, which were not easy to find or install. Be aware that if you want this cheap radiator, you're likely going to end up spending more money trying to make it work than buying a quality radiator from rockauto or any other distributor of name brand products. I also asked for a partial refund due to my hassle and autoshack just sent me the return label so i can send the part back for a full refund, which is not what i requested..

Installation was pretty easy, and the part seems to be the right size and shape, and seems to be cooling just fine even under heavy gas pedal operation. Just make sure to BLEED THE AIR OUT OF THE SYSTEM, because I forgot to do this right afterwards and could have potentially destroyed my engine.When you remove the expansion tank, the oil line thermostat, or whatever the cylindrically plasticky part is called is, seems to break so it might be a good idea to buy that too when you're replacing your radiator.The quality of the radiator seems fine, but I've only had it in for a few days. I will try to post an update after I've driven with it for a while.

When I first purchased this a month and installed it. It had a leak at the petcock but after contacting customer support. They help me arrange for my needs. Gotta say they are really helpful.

Expansion tank mounting plate needs to be notched out on where top screws to rad, and about a 1/4 inch to short on width for top mounting bolts . I had to drill them out . seems well made and price is right

Do not order worst place and experience my rad is not good for the bmw be careful came with two drain plug and both where not good for automatic transmission so guess wat no coolant sant to the transmission now the garage said have to change transmissions because it burnt ask autoshack to help me they said look it up yourself and cant give me a awser on witch plug to use
