The fan shroud had to be cut around drain plug to fit. Also the drain plug tabs were broken so you can not use the drain to drain the rad.

It took about 2 1/2 hours to install, but fit perfectly. Will upgrade rating to 5 starts if it holds up for a reasonable length of time. Great Value!

Surprise ending....This radiator DOES NOT FIT my "2004 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO 4X4 4.0L as advertised". It is bigger in depth and height. Unfortunately I broke a mounting bracket in my attempt to install it or I would be returning it ASAP. I am most dissatisfied in this, let alone all the time I have had to put in on this,only to find it is wrong. I've been a mechanic for over 40 years and will make this work only because Jeep radiators are so time consuming to replace, this one has been down too long. and it's mine. Otherwise I would have to eat the time and most likely has a very dissatisfied customer, (as I am with this company).And yet this seller sends me a free of charges, a corrected version. That's my kind of business. Taking care of the customer first. Highly recommended
