The cymbal is the usual Zildjian greatness so that's a given.What impressed me is the packaging. Yes, the packaging.(It came) in a nice box, with cushion and .... in a Zildjian-logo plastic bag.

The holes in them was a great idea, but if you hit the Low Volume Cymbal hard, you'll bend them a bit or so. But, the plus is the Low Volume Cymbals are great with mute pads on drums. With it, you can play along a good wattage stereo music at minimal, but you're still hearing a cymbal sound and Low.

The coating on the L80's really get dirty/mark up fast. The china doesn't have much of that trashy tone but they are quiet and I prefer playing on these to rubber silencers or other options for practicing.

You know how you listen to someone like Neil Peart and they make that China go “swish” instead of “clang”? Well these do that Neil thing only quieter. Love these practice cymbals. Highly recommend!
