I've tested this set of two water level indicators in various plant pots and the results seem to be inconsistent. They definitely read water when you put them in a glass of water, but they seem to have a hard time reading the water level in soil. Currently they are in our tomato planters and the readings don't seem to be accurate. When the plants are quite wet, they still read that the plant is dry. Overall, these are pretty hit and miss.

This review is for the plastic water level indicators.PROS- Good idea- Easy to insert into the soilCONS- Not very accurate- I've inserted these in two different sized planted pots and watered them but the indicator still shows low water- They can't accurately measure soil moisture levelOverall, this is a good idea but sadly doesn't work in potted plants. It can't accurately detect moisture or water levels in the soil so even after watering the indicator still doesn't move.
