It's an older build and the nub mark placement shows, along with it's simplicity but overall it was a great build. Final product looks good even with only the basics done (panel lining and top coat). If you are an MG fan but don't want the craziness of a bajillion runners and small pieces and a SEED fan, then this is definitely worth getting.

The 1/100 MG Force Impulse is yet another great master grade. First, the Impulse comes in three sections: The chest, the core splendor, and the legs. The connection is solid, and you don't have to worry about the kit separating (though, it might on occasion). Each section can be displayed individually on action bases if you wish to do so. The Force Silhouette can also fold it's wings in and out. Nothing feels loose and the kit feels solid. The kit has very good articulation and can pull off the Impulse's poses from the anime. The Force Impulse also includes the Excalibur Anti-Ship Sword which can be used to recreate the scene when Shinn stabs the Freedom. The hands can hold the weapons with no problem, as there a pegs in the hands that allow it to hold the weapons securely. Along with the standard master grade hands, there are hands meant for holding the Excalibur, which the kit and hold up without too many issues. There are also different decals you can use to customize it with to make it look like Shinn's or Lunamaria's Impulse. This is an excellent kit that is well worth the purchase and is very nice display.
