Don't let amazons confirmed fit fool you. Just got back from my mechanic and this belt doesn't fit. I have a 2012 Chevy Sonic LT 1.8L Flex engine which says is compatible but its not. Maybe if your car doesn't have A/C it'll work.

Installation was super simple and fitment was great. Before installing I did a brief inspection and the product had no defects and appeared to be made of durable materials. Product appeared exactly as advertised.A word of advice if you're replacing the belt on a Chevy Cruze; be sure to inspect the belt tensioner before replacing the belt as it could be the reason the belt initially failed, my tensioner had a cracked bushing which caused it to bend and my previous belt to rub against the tensioner leading to an awful squealing noise while the engine was running. To guarantee this won't happen its generally recommended to replace the belt tensioner anytime you replace the belt on a chevy cruze, however that is up to you.In summary, all is in good working order so far, and should any issues arise I will update this review promptly.

Pay the extra for Gates on this one! If you plan on keeping vehicle. Timing belt purchase weeks back for around the same price appears better quality.

The product is fine but does not specify vehicle engine type. This fits the chevy cruze 1.8l and not the 1.4l turbo. Amazons pairing said it did and i wasted a lot of time finding that out
