So I bought this dartboard for my basement. The dartboard itself is very nice. I like the feature and there really is no issue with it. The only reason I gave it 4 star is because of two concerns I think the vendor should think about. One, The package was not really well packaged up. When I received it, the bubbles were sort of ripped and not well wrapped. When I looked at the dartboard, there were several places where there were dents and chips. But they were not a deal breaker for me since I was able to hide some of the chips with color marker that matched the color of the dartboard. I should not have to do this if the vendor wrapped this more carefully. Also, the light is a great addition but I don't like the place where the switch is located. It's on the top corner way in the back. So unless your fairly tall, you will have to get a step stool to turn it on and off. That is if you plan on hanging the dartboard recreational height. I am around 5'8" and I had a hard time reaching it. So if the light switch was closer to the front or placing it on the side or bottom would have been better. Those were the only two concerns I had. So I can't provide a perfect 5 but overall, I do enjoy the dartboard and it does look nice.

The cabinet itself seems sturdy enough. I like the black background on the center section. The dart board is very thick with enough mass to hold up over time. It does not sit flush against the back of the cabinet because of the mounting clip, but not so much that it rocks when you sink the darts into it. The dry erase board instead of a chalk board is a great idea, you will want to buy a couple extra pens for it. The darts are light weight and very thin. I'm sure for most people they are more than sufficient, but someone with large hands will want to buy some heavier darts. Overall a nice purchase and I would recommend it. But, there is one negative. The manufacturer decided it would be a good idea to place a crappy paper label right on the wood in the center section of the cabinet. So, when you try to take the label off, it just shreds into pieces, does not come off clean and since it is on the finished wood, you can't scrape it, can't use a remover and have to spend an hour trying to wash it off with soap and water. If you are the manufacturer reading this, we have the technology of vinyl labels that will peel off cleanly. Or maybe a simple card in the box with the warning messages. Anything but a stick on, aggravation inducing paper label.

This is the first negative review I have ever left after buying hundreds of items off Amazon. I was expecting a fairly high level of quality considering the price of this item and I was very disappointed. My biggest complaint is that the actual dartboard is very poorly constructed. The bullseye is not even in the center! The colors for the double and triple appear to have been painted on as there is red and green paint on the metal banding on the board. I thought the easily erasable pen and board would be a nice improvement on the typical chalkboard style but the pen doesn't work. The lights that should light up the dartboard nicely actually make it harder to see as the above lighting puts a shadow on everything. To top it off the darts are also super cheap. I was very disappointed to find that they do not accept returns or provide replacements and I would suggest buying any other dartboard.

The cabinet itself is very handsome, and was quick to put together.. NOTE many reviews indicate the kit was shipped missing hardware (and I nearly believed I joined their ranks), however, I found the hardware bag tucked in a TRIANGLE SHAPED Shipping BOX that protects the corner of the cabinet (it’s very easy to miss, but look for red tape as you would with any do it yourself furniture). I deducted one star here as the cabinet’s finish was peeling in one spot, about 2 inches long on the inside right if the cabinet (bummer), but the cosmetic issue wasn’t egregious enough to force a decision to return..The ‘self-healing’ dartboard is fairly thick, which yields great gameplay, and the wire frame can be rotated if you play a ton (to avoid so much wear to certain point zones). As some reviews mentioned, the thickness blocks the LED lights from shining down the entire surface of the board, however, since this cabinet is set 81inches high (for the bullseye to be at appropriate height), I rarely turn the LEDs on because they’re simply hard to reach as they’re on top of the cabinetAll told, I’d buy it again… and if I was feeling particularly handy, I’d sand and paint the case in the future depending on how it holds up…

I am very satisfied with the dartboard and it looks wonderful. As for the included darts, I would think that they would have included much better ones. Overall I do love the board.

NO MORE CHALK. The design is really nice and clean, looks great. Very expensive... one of the most expensive ones i found on amazon. Only thing negative I have to say is that the 3 (small) lights built in are not lightning up the board... The board is too thick for where the lights are

This backboard is very nice in both quality and craftsmanship. It’s not wood - more like molded plastic, but you’re throwing steel tip darts at it, so I think that’s actually better.I was delightfully surprised that it came with darts and a dartboard - especially at this price point. Everything you need is included, so it’s a great value.Nothing in my house is brown, so I decided to paint the backboard white. A little tape, a can of white satin furniture spray paint, and three thin coats later it looks amazing. The paint bled through the tape on the chalkboards, but I was able to scrape it off easily with no damage using an exacto knife. A couple hours of work, and it turned out great.I also added a Viper laser throw line (shown attached to the bottom of the cabinet), so that I didn’t have to put a giant throw line sticker on my basement floor. It works great and was easy to install and adjust.My only complaint is the light. It’s too far back to light up the board, and the color of it just doesn’t help in any way. However, the cabinet looks cool with it on if you have another adequate light source nearby.All-in-all, I’m very happy with the product and would buy it again.

Love the look of this board. Marker doesn't work but I use chalk anyway. Lights are not bright enough but I have a different light for the board so it doesn't effect me.

Tried to “cancel” item 30 minutes after it was accidentally ordered. They would not cancel due to the no return policy. After reading reviews people have received badly damaged products with no way to return them. Buying this product is a serious gamble and it really lowered my confidence in buying anything off Amazon.As for the product itself:Looks nice but very poorly made. Basically made from particle board with an extremely heavy layer of lacquer that really does not resemble real wood.The dart board and darts work but are extremely cheap. Any serious dart player would expect to have to buy a nice board and darts.I wish it would have used chalk board instead of dry erase do you the many complaints of the marker burning into board.There are 2 hanger at the top for hanging on a wall. These hangers aren’t even 16” apart to be able to hang on studs. I had to rig up my own hanging system to make this thing sturdy, even so the screws are going through 1/8” particle board to I’m always nervous of it falling off the wall.One of these days I will buy a nicer, well built dart cabinet and will post a video of me either blowing this board up with tanerite or smashing it into pieces with a 3 iron listening to “still” by Geto Boys.

I absolutely love this board, the LED switch is alittle awkward to reach when the board is mounted at regulation height. But other then that a ton of fun.

It arrived quickly. Nicely packaged. As others have mentioned had a strong petroleum odour upon opening. Left in garage for a day. Not a problem. Set up easy. Nice looking. As advertised.

On the pro side, this looks beautiful, and reasonably priced.Cons:1. The LED lights are useless. The dartboard is thicker than the lights, so the lights don't light up the board at all, they only light up around the board. Seems like a poor design.2. The LED lights on/off switch is located hidden on the top right of the board. You need to be VERY tall or use a stool every time you want to turn them on/off or replace batteries. Again - very poor design. The cable to the switch is too short so I can't even move it to somewhere more accessible.3. There is a pretty big ugly yellow warning sticker on the board. Very visible and just makes the whole thing ugly. Now, you guessed it - they used the cheapest thinnest paper sticker which comes apart in small tiny pieces when you try to take it off - I spent literally 45 minutes just on this sticker alone and didn't get the whole thing off.I really can’t stress enough how ugly this sticker is and how hard is it to peel it.I was tempted to return this back just because of the sticker.I will be contacting the seller regarding the sticker and the lights that are absolutely useless, but I don't suspect they will have any solution for me.I'd still buy it I think, since there aren't many options with the same look and feel. Overall with very little changes this could be a 5 star product.
