My crappy Tektro 280s have been given a new life. So much better than the stock metal pads. Definitely more stopping power, and completely silent, while my old metal ones were always embarrassingly loud.

I read in a YouTube comment that these don't squeak when wet (or any other time) - I was skeptical but it's true.Installed these on an Ariel Rider X class and rode 20 miles. Not only do they have great stopping power, but they don't make any noise. Very impressed.Simple to install. They don't come with a new cotter pin like some do (the ceramic ones I'd been using did) so keep your old one when installing.Buying more for the next change. I've done 2600 miles on my bike so have been through a fair few of pads (San Francisco)

I bought these to replace the brake pads on my e-bike. They work pretty well and they're a whole lot quieter than the stock pads. My biggest issue was with Amazon itself. I'm used to the money being pulled out on the same day but they didn't take it out for three days. Because of that I ended up buying two sets. I figure I'll just keep the other set. I know I'll use them.
