The frame was not as sturdy as I wanted. Reenforced the frame myself and am happier withthe product.

Installation easy with few pieces to be connected. My mom is well supported when transferring to toilet, and rails are stable when getting up.

Good value for the money, the unit was pretty good. The side rails move a couple of inches sideways, which gives an uneasy feeling. Our main issue was mounting it on a Toto toilet. The casing of the toilet is not flat (between the lid bolts) but curves down on the outside. When bolting it down, the mounting bracket (steel with slotted holes) the steel plate would rock. We installed two washers which solved the problem. Would have been better if the washers were nylon. A cheap fix for a couple of cents.

The only issue I have with this is the legs wobble when I put my weight on it. The legs are not as sturdy as I had hoped :( For someone who cannot bear any weight on her ankle, this is dissapointing as I feel I may lose balance and be forced to put weight on my broken ankle.

We installed this for 89 year old mom. She tried it. It wiggled all over the place. We can't send it back, because we threw out the packaging. We ended up using a commode chair over the toilet, which was way more sturdy.
