I have a 1987 Camaro Had to file down the inside so it could fit over the steering wheel shaft. Also had to add my own bolt on the side of the shaft I used a spare TPI bolt I had. I also grind down a little grove for the set screw to bite into on the top of the steering wheel shaft. After I did all these things It feel great and more responsive then the old shaft. Should be a more direct fit that it claims to be

Excellent quality.By shortening the shaft i got it to fit my 1989 Chevy G20 van.And now all my steering woes are over.
