This thing is the bomb. Plant growth and germination have no choice for those warmer weather plants. ltseems very sturdy and the lights are pretty bright. The light has a timer which is great and it even comeswith a heating pad. lt's super easy to set up and also fun! Me and my kids loved it. We will see how it doesas we just put all the soil and seeds in.

This kit is complete with all you need to plant seeds, keep the soil warm, and of course perfect lighting for your baby plants. I've used cheap versions of this kit, and they're just that cheap - last season. This setup is sturdy and practical.

The planting kit was received quickly, well packaged and in good condition. The plastic greenhouse and dome are the right size, have the right height and are made of sturdy plastic. Apart from the seeds, soil or rock wool blocks, the planting kit has everything you need for germination. There are instructions in the package and a link to online instructions. The lighting works well and the plants thrive.

This is a very complete set for starting plants, I dont think I have seen anything like this kit.It has seed trays and a clear cover. The clear cover has vents which is a nice touch,This comes with a heat mat to warm the base so the plants grow faster.And it comes with two adjustable grow lights.Everything you need but soil and seeds to start growing indoors before the frost ends.I highly recommend this kit.

This is a fantastic package that give you everything you need to get your seed started. The container is solid plastic, and the cover fits really snuggly that keeps the moisture inside. The vents are nice when you want to let the moisture out. The double bottom tray is perfect for bottom watering, to keep the plants healthy.The lights come with a time so are set-it-and-forget-it. They don’t quite go across the hold length of the tray. The plants on the two rows at the end of the tray bend a little towards the light, but this is pretty minor.The tray has 40 small compartment, which are the perfect size for seed starting, not to big, to stunt their growth. I also really like the little tools that come to make it easy to repot your plants when it is time to move them to a bigger pot.The heating pad is a game changer. I’ve never used one before and it definitely speeds up sprouting.Overall a great set that give you everything you need to start your seeds indoors.

This had everything we needed to start some seeds inside for our class. We have a lighted grow unit in class, and are currently using this starter to get a little boost on some pepper and tomato seeds for the unit.They thought of everything in this kit. Labels, lights, dome, even a pH tester! The heating pad provided even heat through the soil, and our seeds sprouted a few days before predicted. My students loved putting everything together, and making predictions on how long it would take the seeds to sprout. The clear dome let them see progress daily when it started. They were surprised how quickly the sprouts grew after they broke through the soil.Having the timer built into the unit was amazing. It let me set everything while we were out of the class on weekends, without having to worry about burning or under-lighting the seedlings, and the moisture meter prevented us from overwatering.Highly recommended for classrooms, or garden enthusiasts.

This is a nice, comprehensive seed starting kit. It is especially great for someone just venturing into the seed starting world as it has everything you need (and a few things you don’t).The tray itself is pretty good. The cells are a little bit small, but it's about what I would expect from many seed starting trays. The clear plastic allows you to easily see root development and know when it's best to transplant up to the next size container. I like that the lid has vents on it that you can open and close. I find this helps buy some time when you have some seedlings that germinate slower than others. You can leave the humidity dome on just a bit longer to help the germination process along, but crack the vents to help get some air flow to ones that have already sprouted.The seed mat has a nice long cord. It takes 19W basically constantly. I haven’t found the mat to turn off yet.The “built in” lights that snap onto the top of the humidity dome are a novel concept and a nice space saver in the beginning, but once the humidity dome comes off, you have to have an alternate way to provide light to your growing seedlings. I've never used grow lights with blue and white lights, so time will tell how that affects my seedlings. The lights take an extra 6W on high and 2W on low (mine were preset to low, however they seem to remember their last setting). They also have a decent length cord.The other odds and ends that come with this kit are okay. I find the small tools are nice for gently prying seedlings out of the cells when you're ready to transplant them. The gloves are a little big for me personally and I don't find myself wearing gloves when I'm starting seeds, so they're maybe not really necessary. The pH meter is nice to have for use out in the garden, but I don't really have any application for it when I'm starting seeds. The instructions for it are also in another language. The 20 plant tags that come with the kit are awesome and I have actually been able to reuse them if I write on them with pencil.Overall, this kit is great value for everything it contains

so you start the seedlings, and it can be a matter of days before you have to pot them just due to how little space there is in the plastic cells
