This push broom is what you need for smooth floors. Smooth finished concrete floors like in a garage or shop. NOT for exterior concrete "broomed" finishes like you see on driveways, sidewalks, or streets. It also works great on hardwood floors and today's laminated flooring as long as it is a smooth surface. It has many soft, fine bristles that will not scratch the finish.I've used it in my garage and living room both. It cuts down the time and energy used to sweep the floors fast.

The durability remains to be seen cause I’ve not used it a handful of times. I’m a union floor layer and was looking for a fine bristled broom for some of the finer dusts we have to sweep. It gets the job done, but not quite like horse hairs! The biggest plus to look at is the amount of time you cut off by switching to such a long broom head!

I actually am not using it as a broom, I'm using it to fill the gap under my rolling fence/gate to keep my little critters in the yard. I wired it to the base of the gate and it is working to keep my small pets from escaping under the gate over the driveway. But it also keeps the track line clean as I move it back and forth when opening and closing the gate.

so like this is a broom. it does indeed sweep dirt.Ok just kidding, honestly this broom head ROCKS! I use brooms and they are always breaking at work and getting replaced with random crap, so i bought this and brought it to work and it is the best one ive used yet, the fibers are thin enough to get even the tiniest dust, yet they hold up to big glass shards that i work with. I covered my broomstick with carbon fiber to make it last, and it still broke before the head wore even a little.
