These are light and easy to install almost anywhere.However, the rubber is harder than I expected. It’s very stiff, so pushing the rod through the slots is tough unless the rod diameter going in is smaller than the slot. You’d really have to think about the position you will be installing these and how/where you will be putting the rods in.The velcro strap will secure everything while the rubber provides the seat, however i didn’t find these as user friendly as i had hoped. Softer silicone would let you squeeze the rods through so they'd be held without the strap doing all the work or risk of damage.Wasn’t a big fan. Maybe flat on a boat compartment floor/horizontal on a wall would be best. Each piece is the same so you need to offset them slightly so that the small wave of one piece (tip slot) lines up with the larger wave of the other (butt end slot), i believe.
