These BoobyBuds silver nursing cups are a total game-changer! Got them for my sore nipples as a first time mom, and wow, they’re amazing. Made of 999 silver, they’re super gentle—no creams needed—and my cracks healed in like two days. They’re comfy, fit under my bra easy, and the silicone ring keeps ‘em from digging in. My only gripe is they’re a bit pricey, but honestly, worth every penny for the relief. Already recommended them to one of my mom friends.

Helped in the early days with nipple pain so didn't need creams etc. Didn't bother to put on the silicon rings as needed to remove when washing them or cleaning with let down milk.

5 starts for quick delivery (1 day) very impressed.Packaging is great, I took one start as the shields are different colours. One looks new and the other isn’t new already has some marks around the edge.It is not engraved, agree with other reviews it feels more like stainless steel than silver.It claims to be free of nickel, let’s see as I have nickel allergy.Will update the review if there is any allergic reaction.

Came dusty and some dirt on them- not sure if it's supposed to be like this or something. Had to clean it really well before using but it did help with my sore. Easy to use and fits just right. The ailicone ring helps it to keep in place.

These nipple shields are amazing at providing relief after breast feeding. They are comfortable to wear and help protect raw or chafed nippled from rubbing on clothing. They work just as described and are honestly worth every cent. At $40.99 during the time of ordering, they are high quality and perfect for me. I would highly recommend them.

We recently started nursing for the first time and got these early in preparation for it just in case, and so happy we did as we can't imagine what we would do without them now. We also have the butter/cream that helps heal and protect them but we've been using these to then put on top and have a nursing bra on and now after a bit of blistering in the first couple days they're pretty much mostly healed up fully, also in part to just learning and getting better at nursing as well.I think if anyone is or is planning on nursing on their own if it all works out I would absolutely recommend silver nursing cups. Even if you either don't think you'll need them, if you start to struggle with blistering or damage remember these are out here, they're not a cure all but they're definitely worth trying and great as as tool for early prevention of damage.Being essentially pure silver, they are basically self sterilizing, just rinse in warm/hot water after use to clean, you don't need to scrub them with soap and water (unless you want to) and they're ready to go. The silicone rings do need to be clean with soap though as they are still silicone, you don't need to use them though. Silver does tarnish, it isn't dirt but it does cause it to look dirty or maybe even a form of rust, but it's not and can be removed with specific cleaning methods.Getting these in the correct size is important, if they're too small they will still help protect them but not fully cover.

These are a God send. I don’t know about the healing properties of silver but the coolness of the buds is great, especially if you keep them in the refrigerator. They really help calm inflamed, sore nipples. What I appreciate is that they act as a shield to protect sensitive nipple from rubbing on fabric and causing more pain. It’s nice to have a barrier there to protect from friction. You can just put your absorbent nursing pads over top of them. The cups are comfortable and they do an excellent job of protecting sore nipples. I really like them.

I’m comparing three different brands and two sizes of silver covers. Momcozy in Regular and XL, BoobyBuds in Regular and XL, and Petit Journey in Regular.Interestingly, all three brands appear to have basically identical size and shape for their regular and XL sized covers. Momcozy only includes the silver cover, Petit Journey comes with the silver cover embedded in a huge silicone piece, and the BoobyBuds comes with an optional silicone ring.The silver covers are so thin in all brands that they’re incredibly easy to dent, and the thin edges can dig into your skin. The XL sizes extend further out towards the edges, and since they cover more area, spread out any pressure a lot better and dig less. The Petit Journey silicone cover also helps, though the silicone part adds significant weight and bulk. Interestingly, all the Regular size ones were so identical that I could put any of them in the Petite Journey covers. I didn't have much luck with the o-ring silicone from BoobyBuds; it fit very awkwardly and ended up leaving a circular depression in my tissue.As far as looks, they’re all going to look weird. The Petit Journey silicone cover is slightly less pointy, but still quite weirdly visible.Personally, I ended up switching between the Petit Journey with silicone cover and the XL of the other two brands. The XLs without silicone were actually slightly more comfortable for me personally as long as I wasn’t wearing a super tight bra, and also more silver was in contact with my skin, and I felt that worked a bit better. But they were also more delicate and pointy. If I needed to go out in public and feel more secure, I’d wear the Petit Journey with the silicone cover. It was nice to have multiples to immediately rotate them when they're dirty.I do definitely recommend silver covers in general, just select your size/design carefully. In BoobyBuds, I'd definitely recommend the larger sizes for wearing comfort.
