BSTHP Compass Metal Retro Survival Gear for Military Camping Hiking Riding Tools, if I am being 100% honest for the price of this compass it is actually really decent quality. It is heavier then I thought which shows it is more durable. The metal feels nice it is really great quality for the price you honestly can't go wrong. I bought this a first timer with compasses and he loves it. He is really into maps and things so I wanted to get him a compass but didn't want to spend a fortune on something he might not actually use but this was perfect starter one and great quality in my opinion but I am also not a huge outdoors type person that would use one often.

Portable, not too heavy, and easily accessible if I'm venturing in the creek or on a camping trip. My only issue with it is the glow-in-the-dark spinnable ring around it to rotate the numbers. It started out fine, it lit up in a dark environment with no problem, but then it got finicky and I have no idea why. It's either not dark enough for some reason to glow or something else is up with it. Other than that, great product!

Returning it. As it is 25-30 degrees off north. Attached picture is me standing 1 or 2 degrees from north and the compass pointing towards north.I have yet to get it to be within 5 degrees of actually pointing north. Within 30 minutes of receiving it I tested it in several locations inside and out. It has pointed to the Northeast and Northwest. Has been as much as 60 degrees off north. This is basically decoration not a functional tool.
