These pads are just ok. As far as pee absorbency & smell containment, that part works pretty well. If you have an older dog who drags their feet and wanders, they don’t work that great. The layers come apart pretty easily, and the adhesive doesn’t hold, due to these things. Eh, they’re just ok.

This was the first time I have ever seen such a poor quality in pads! Honestly, you would be better of just laying one layer of paper towels instead of this pad!

The xl size is great. Not nearly as many bad aims that ran off the edge of the pad. My retriever pup can use it 3-4 times during the night without it leaking. Mishaps have been more her not quite fully on the bad than the pad itself leaking. There well may be better but if there is I haven't found it yet

I love that fact that they are XL .. it works well for puppy training however, they're not kidding when they state "sticky tape are optional; adhesive can be very sticky"It's extremely sticky... how does one remove it off hardwood without ruining the floors? Perhaps I could try oil? 😔

These XL pee pads are so much better than those we can buy in our rural community. We have only rescue dogs, some of whom lived for 6 or 7 years in a wire cage and were never allowed out. So they peed and pooped on themselves and on the doggies in the wire cages beneath theirs. In the case of our toy poodle, the mill owner cleaned both poodle and cage by aiming a high-powered water hose in at them. In any case, that poodle never learned, nor has she been able to learn, to do her business outside. It's been a miracle that we were able to teach her to use a pee pad, which we locate directly in front of the back door. And she pees a lot. The thin pads we buy locally just turn to mush or shred or get pushed aside by the door opening and closing and so must be fastened to the floor with masking tape. They also have to be doubled up. The XL pads solve all these problems. Being several layers thick, their own weight holds them flat onto the floor, but there are sticky sections that hold the edges down. The door doesn't push them aside, they are highly absorbent, so no shredding or mushing and the floor doesn't turn into a lake. I can't say how these pads would work for a large puppy or dog. You know how they miss the pad sometimes or pee on the edge. But for my small poodle, with her hit or miss peeing habits, they work wonderfully. Highly recommended by me for small, maybe medium puppies.
