Very well built hitch. It's everything I needed and nothing I didn't need. I paired this hitch with the Curt ball covers to keep the grease contained. I like that the unit is completely secured if the hitch is locked, an ingenius design. I'm confident this is the last hitch I will be buying. I suggest removing after use to keep the elements from rusting the hitch. Don't throw the instructions out, there is grease and a sticker inside.

Outstanding. Bought a new-to-us car hauler trailer and needed the larger ball and adjustable drop so I decided to give this a try.The fold feature is what justifies the cost, and eliminates the need for a hitch sliding around in the box or toolbox of your truck.The pins that hold the hitch in place are 100% perfectly rattle free. Precision machining. Even the hitch balls themselves are nicely finished and the pin that lets them rotate is rattle free.We'll be taking this hitch on a 2500 mile sojourn over the holidays and I'll update this if anything other that perfect performance is experienced.Update: 3500 miles of towing, no rattles, no clunks, never a hint of a problem. Very impressed. On the couple occasions we dropped the trailer and drove locally, I folded the hitch under and went on with life with bruise-free shins. Great hitch with quality assembly and smart features.

Adjusts easily and is easy to use. Only regret was not getting the one with the most drop available. Any truck or suv that has up to and more than 4" inches of lift just go ahead and buy the one with the max drop.

Celle de gauche est la nouvelle. Le fini semble meilleur, les pines semblent en stainless, ce qui est une bonne nouvelle. Très utiles de pouvoir renverser la boule sous l’attache remorque. Ça évite de s’y cogner, se salir et évite de devoir ranger la main quand pas utilisée. Très lourd. C’est de l’acier. Les ajustements en hauteur sont nombreux. Les boules restent attachée(la partie coulissante) lorsqu’on ajuste la hauteur. Très utiles car c’est lourd. Le porte-à-faux est de 7 pouces au lieu de 13 comme ma vieille. Encore un point positif. La finition est très belle. Je suis très satisfait. On verra la qualité et résistance du fini après un hiver Québécois. Étant donné le plus élevé, j’ai pensé acheter une main en aluminium mais certains commentaires sous certaines parties, montrant des attaches cassées m’ont fait acheter en acier. Même si c’est passablement plus lourd.

I've got a larger pick up truck with a higher hitch height. This hitch provides a great option to adjust the ball to nearly exactly where you need it. I had to use the larger ball and pulled a 20 foot long by 10 foot wide trailer with another tuck on it. The hitch had no issues and was easy to use. I was skeptical about the price because you can purchase a single specific hitch with proper drop or rise much cheaper, however this is like having many all in one. It looks great, works great and I love how it is made here in the good ol' USA. I feel it is worth the money I paid for it. One thing to mention is there is no hitch pin that comes with it for the actual receiver. There are three hitch pins for the item itself for holding it where it needs to be for it's height adjustment and which ball you choose, but not one for securing it to the receiver itself. I found this not to be too much of an issue as I decided to purchase a locking hitch pin so this thing doesn't get stolen. It is definitely a quality made product and I recommend purchasing it if you are in the market for an adjustable hitch.

B&W TS10040B...... This is a 2" receiver. This comes with 2" and 2-5/16" ball. It is rated for 10,000 lb trailer weight and 1,000 lb tongue weight. It has a max drop of 7". It does not come with a key lock to secure it to the vehicle. To change the ball just pull a pin and the ball rotates, its tool free to change from 2 to 2-5/16. The machining is very nice and it is well built in USA. Be aware that there are several B&W hitches that look like this and they all have different drops and different receiver sizes. It can be a bit confusing especially if you are checking for the lowest price on the hitches and they all seem to be similar, its easy to order the wrong one so double check before check out and pay. Another similar hitch that i own is a CURT 45900 Adjustable Channel Mount. It is a lot cheaper price but it only goes to a 6" drop. I like both of these hitches, the curt has a rubber piece that helps keep hitch knock to a minimum, the B&W has nothing to stop hitch knock but it is machined with less slop so it should be pretty good. If you change hitch heights often then the B&W is much easier to change. If you want a cheaper hitch that will work with your current vehicle and future vehicle, and you dont change heights often then i would get the curt hitch. The curt is a forged ball, one piece that makes both the balls, nice and solid. The curt is just a pain to switch height and switch ball sizes. The difficulty to change the curt hitch is exactly why i bought the B&W, i have multiple trailers and when i buy a new vehicle i dont want to have to buy more hitches. This way i have 2 hitches for 2 trailers and i dont have to slow down to change them (except every so often when i buy a new truck). Currently the curt is $110 and B&W is $245.
