About this item

  • ✅ ESSENTIAL DSLR CAMERA ACCESSORY ►This set contains 2 rubber camera lens hoods that are compatible with all 58mm lenses. Always verify your camera's lens thread size before ordering. The correct Ø diameter value can be found on the front of the lens or underneath the lens cap.
  • ✅ BLOCKS EXCESS SUNLIGHT ►The rubber lens hoods will block excess sunlight for enhanced photography and video footage. They will reduce lens glare and flare and boost the black in your pictures.
  • ✅ COLLAPSIBLE IN 3 STEPS ►The rubber lens hoods can be folded out in 3 steps to offer different levels of sun shading. Because the rubber lens hood can be fully collapsed, you can leave it on your lens so you can always use it when you need it.

I use this Lens Hood to shield my 67mm Variable ND Filter from rain, more than anything else on my Neewer S24 Ultra Camera Rig Case.Be warned through, you lose the 0.6x "Ultra Wide" Screen if you use Stabilization on your Samsung. It ends up appearing as a black fringing. I use the 1.0x Lens and, so far, it seems to work fine as I haven't seen the Lens Hood enter the Frame. All in all, a good deal for 2 Lens Hoods!

Worked as expected for the first year, but after a six month break, I found the rubber degraded to the point it fell apart.

They are bulky, but they are cheap. I am shocked at how much a Sony replacement lens hood costs.

This is not new solution.) When my father was a student 38 years ago he bought 35mm film camera, lenses and few rubber lens hoods with same design. And it was interesting to buy same hood after 38 years for own digital camera)).

I ordered this exact brand about 5 years ago and it was sturdy and kept its shape. The one I received this time was crap. Flimsy and mis-shaped right out of the plastic. Screw on ring for the lens attachment would not stay on the rubber lens cap. VERY DISAPPOINTING when a brand cheaps out on quality.

For the price, you get two very useful lens hoods. You can't go wrong. But here's my take:1. Despite the product saying it's for wide angle, standard, and telephoto lenses, know that the only real use is for standard and telephoto. Rolling the rubber hood all the way back is basically useless for a wide angle lens, offering little or no coverage. If you need a wide angle lens hood, spend an extra 10 to 20 bucks and get a solid metal wide angle lens hood. You won't regret that one bit--with this one, you will.2. It works perfectly for standard and telephoto lenses. No vignetting and good coverage.3. Yes, it's flimsy and it'll bend like crazy if you push it against glass. Get over it, it's cheap. If you want a metal one or a thick rubber one, spend more. This isn't for you.4. Just keep it fully extended, use it only for standard and telephoto focal lengths, don't press it up against glass, and you'll be fine.5. It screws easily into the lens filter ring with no issues. So why did I give it only 4 stars instead of 5? Because the manufacturer advertises it as being useful for wide angle, when in fact, it's usefulness on wide angle is pretty much zero.Should you buy it? YES--only if you don't use it for wide angle. For wide angle, see point #1.Happy shooting!
