True to size. I ordered before I read the reviews and I was worried I ordered a size too small, but I am normally a medium. Arm holes are a little tight but I feel like it will stretch a bit. Thick cotton material

This is a good cotton blend leotard for a standard ballet class, not one where you'll sweat profusely. I like the cross-back detail. Very pretty. I must admit the sizing was pretty confusing as there was no published size chart, but I went with the Bloch size chart that is available, and got the same size as my Bloch leotards. I am about 5'6", 135-140 pounds/30C, a women's XS/S or a 2/4 in street clothes. Medium fits well, without the straps or anything cutting into me. There is a panel in the chest for modesty, but no built in cups/sports bra, which for me, being small-chested is fine, but something to note if you need a lot of support. I think I could have gotten a size Small to fit my chest a bit tighter, but then the hips might be a bit too small. Girls' sizing may be different.

My daughter dances multiple times a week so I thought it would be good to have an extra couple leotards for her. She always wears a women's small in leotards and has had capezio Leo's before. The material does not stretch much and could barely fit into a women's medium comfortably. It's a beautiful leotard and I love the criss cross at the back but just wish it fit better.

Bodysuit fit as expected. It is a nice bodysuit for the price point. My daughter uses it for weekly dance classes. Would order again!

I bought the ladies size medium and it is almost too small for my daughter who is a size 14 kids. Fits small but nice body suit.

This leotard came dirty and is way too small in the bust on my slim child with a flat chest. I followed their sizing chart too. I was super disappointed when I went to return it and found out it is not an option. CAUTION, "This item isn't eligible for return."

This leotard fits beautifully on our slim ballerina daughter. Criss crossed strap pattern on lower back is gorgeous! Would definitely measure your girth (place tape measure on center of right shoulder, run through crotch and back to right shoulder loosely) to determine your size. Would size up if you are in doubt or in between sizes, as Capezio tends to fit small/slim. We ordered the white which is only lined in the front. It is slightly see through in back, but is fine with ballet tights or nude underwear.

I've read a few reviews posted on Amazon and decided to order one size larger (L) than I normally wear (M). It fits quite well and doesn't feel too big. I am stick to the cold water, hand wash with all my leo so I don't expect the size will change much. Even with cold water, the color stains the water slightly. The leo is made of cotton with inner liner bra. I ordered the red color as I've had so many black leo. The front is pretty basic, I would love it more if it has a cinch up front. The back is really flattering. I got quite a few comments the first day I wear it. As it's made of cotton, the color has a bit dullness when I open the package and doens't have that BRAND NEW feel. But as a practice leo, it's comfy and reasonably priced. I am rating it five stars for the price and for the daily class wear purpose, but for a more refined look, e.g. an audition, I will stick to the lycra material.

I baught it in XL as I am quite tall and the size fits great!The openings for the legs are a bit wider than a lot of other models - so it does not compress my hips and I look thinner.It holds perfectly on the shoulders and the bra is very comfortable.I personnaly would have preferred the model's back to be higher but the back of this leo is beautiful - so I'll deal with it.Also I like the V front to be a bit high so that "everything" is well hidden and maintained.Great model!! Go for it.
