The color is more suitable for the original car paint, if you want to reach 100 percent of the same is impossible. I don't think a car paint pen currently on sale can be 100% in line with the original car paint.

This works very well as a scratch touch up. I have a Kia that is Aurora Black Pearl, and it is very easy to get little scratches on this shiney paint. I barely even got a thousand miles on my car before I started getting little surface scratches. I ordered this paint, and my detailer touched up the spots, then he polished the area. Once he was finished, it was impossible to find where the scratches were. This is great for a quick touch up with the pen tip, but it also comes with a small brush for those larger scratch areas. With how this car looks with its shiney black paint, you can really see those little scratches. I recommend always keeping this stuff on hand for your car, and you should probably let it cure 24 hours before polishing over the touch up spots.

More like water than paint. Shook paint for more than recommend. Tried to put a drop on a small chip and it ran off just like water. Don’t waist your time with this crap.

I recently grabbed this black touch-up paint for my Kia(2025 Sportage), and it was way easier to use than I expected. The color match is close to the original paint, and once it dried, I could barely tell where the scratch had been unless I looked really closely. The pen comes with both a regular brush and this tiny 1mm fine brush, which is perfect for small nicks or rock chips. I had a couple of those annoying parking lot scratches on the door and a deeper one near the fender, and this paint handled both really well. Application was pretty straightforward: clean the area, dab or brush on a little paint, wait a few minutes, and repeat if needed. I’d suggest testing on something else first just to get a feel for how much pressure to use and how the paint comes out—it helps you avoid overdoing it. It’s not a professional respray job, of course, but for quick DIY fixes, it definitely saves time and money.
