Works great for both fine mist and a strong thin jet. I got this for the Chapin 6-7770 32-Inch Extendable Wand that doesn't come with a preinstalled nozzle. I was able to achieve a fine mist for watering plants, a 1 inch spray cone for targeting weeds like dandelions and a super thin 1/4 inch jet for spraying ground clear in between cement cracks/joints.

I bought a Stanley back-pack sprayer around 40 years ago, I noticed the spray was array, after looking at the brass nozzle I seen that the hole in the brass cap was worn 3 times its original size. I don't think the plastic one that came as an extra spray tip would out last me.

Amazon claims this nozzle is compatible with 3 gallon Chapin industrial sprayer. It is not. You need a 1/4 inch male to male thread coupler as well.

Since I removed all of our backyard natural grass and installed a artificial grass putting green and lawn we still occasionally have weeds pop up. I attach this adjustable cone to my 2 gal Chapin Professional deck sprayer with a mixture of 1-1/2 tablespoons of "Lesco" non-selective to the water filled sprayer. It's a lot easier than pulling weeds .

This was to replace a nozzle for a weed sprayer from CTC. Based on the pictures of it on-line I was 99% sure it was going to fit. As expected it was an exact match. The price was about the same as buying a new sprayer but I had made a modification to mine (installed a valve stem for a car tire to be able to use a compressor to pressurize the sprayer, works slick. Google the modification!) I just really needed to replace the Nozzle I lost in the grass :(

I had higher hopes for this. I was looking for a better range of control and a more even spray that I found it does. It makes a strong jet. No big surprise there, but what about spray or mist? Well the cone is uneven and it lacks any further adjustment towards fine so that you can mist. Any slight turn and the spray shape changes dramatically. To be more specific, I've gotten much better variability and uniformity of pattern out of 95% of the plastic spray bottles I buy at Target or Home Depot. This nozzle is undeniably well machined, though, turns easily like a knife cutting through butter, and doesn't leak. It has a round base. The round shape means it doesn't mount securely like the other nozzles do to the rack on your , and as soon you invert the sprayer to empty & rinse it, the nozzle falls out of the rack. For my purposes the dedicated 0.5 GPM sprayer nozzle that Chapin sells is the best head for misting, even though it's not really a mist, just a uniform fine spray in a 20º cone.
