I have a dog that cannot have chicken products, so I was happy to find this food topper bullion powder that does not contain chicken! My dog was not too sure about it at first, we have been trying a lot of different toppers to get her to eat her food. I think she’s bored with it. I have tried this topper, both in its powdered form, and mixed with water to create a broth. It does smell a lot more like mushroom than it does beef, so that might be the reason why she isn’t drawn to the smell of it. I had one complaint, and that the lid has a crack through the top of it, which may have happened in transit. Thankfully, it also arrived with a foil seal under the lid, which prevented any leakage. I can see this topper being used on wet foods as well, and it is nice to have on hand when I need to convince my dog to eat.

Charmy Pet Mushroom Bone Broth Powder was an effort to help please extremely fussy cats. Unfortunately it failed. I tried sprinkling it on their food which was at least semi-acceptable to one cat but the method of turning it into soup was a complete fail. Actually I couldn't even blame them. It has a hard time dissolving so it leaves chunks and it is extremely slippery and slimy so the best bet is sprinkles if they are going to take to it. I really appreciate the ingredients but unfortunately 6 cats wouldn't touch it. Normally I would give it 4 stars since it really isn't the fault of the product that my cats won't like it but the fact of how slippery and slimy it was, even turned me kind of off.

There are only 3 ingredients listed, beef broth, strawberry and reishi. I thought this would be a good intro to reishi for my dog as he is an anxious (and overweight) one. We feed raw food at home and I didn't want to mix the taste of broth with the raw food, so I make this into soup by adding water according to the feeding guide. The container is quite small so if you have a large size doggo you'll go through it in no time. I do think the price is reasonable for the container as we also use supplements that are costly for my doggo.I feed half a tablespoon with a quarter cup of water as per the guide. It takes a bit of mixing to get the powder to dissolve in room temp water but it eventually does and I could smell the scent of broth and some strawberry from it. First time trying it our doggo lapped it up completely, making sure to lick the bowl clean, so I thought he likes it. From the second time though he was not as ecstatic about it, and it would take a while for him to go through it all, but he eventually does. Obviously it's too early to tell if there's any effect and I doubt there'll be anything noticeable even after we go through the whole container.

I received a sample of Charmy Pet Mushroom Bone Broth (Reishi & Strawberry version) to try. I have never thought of giving the dawg a food supplement. As stated it can be used either as a topper or as a wet mix. This morning I did a wet mix as per instructions on the packaging.Opening the container I was surprised to see a scoop inside. It appears to be about 1 teaspoon… bonus. The smell of the product was mushroomy. I did test its water solubility in half a cup of warm water. Using a fork and stirring for a minute I found some clumping.I mixed it with his dry dog food and let it soak for 45 minutes. Now the question is will he eat it?Nope (sad face mine, not his). It could be the smell or combination of both dog food and supplement smell? I don’t know.I also tried it dry, same result. As a rating I have to give this product one star. This is not a reflection on the manufacturer but on the dawg not wanting to eat it.I’ll try again and if the situation changes, I’ll update.

I recently tried the Pet Mushroom Bone Broth Powder for my four small picky eater dogs, and I must say, it has become a nice change in their feeding routine. As a pet parent, ensuring that my dogs are getting enough nutrition can be quite challenging, especially with their selective eating habits. This broth powder proved to be a flavorful solution that they genuinely enjoy.Something I really liked about this product is its ingredient quality. Made in Canada, the combination of turkey tail and cranberry offers not only a tasty addition to their meals but also provides health benefits such as urinary tract support. I appreciate that it’s a protein rich supplement, adding a nutritious boost to my dog's diet without any harmful fillers or additives. The 70g/2.5oz size is also quite convenient for small dogs, allowing me to use it without worrying about it going stale. What truly impressed me is how well my dogs took to it. I simply sprinkle the powder over their food or mix it into their meals, and they seem to relish the flavor, which encourages them to eat more consistently. It’s such a relief to see them excited about mealtime, and I’ve noticed that they’re finishing their bowls more often since I started using this topper. However, the powder can be a bit messy; I found that some of it would spill during the application process, leading to a little cleanup afterward. While my dogs love it, I’m not certain how effective the urinary tract support is just yet, as those benefits take time to observe. It would be helpful if the packaging included more specific usage instructions for varied feeding scenarios. The Pet Mushroom Bone Broth Powder has been a delightful addition to my dog's meals and has made feeding them a much easier experience. Despite some minor inconvenience with spillage, the positive response from my picky eaters and the nutritional benefits makes this product worth trying for any pet owner looking to enhance their furry friend's diet. I’m pleased to have found a way to entice my dogs and ensure they’re getting the nutrition they need.
