This is the second Chesona tablet case with included keyboard and track pad I’ve tried recently and it’s not my favorite of the two. This one is more basic with a tablet case that is static and can’t be flipped for working on the keyboard with the tablet in portrait orientation instead of landscape. It’s not a huge deal but if I had to choose, I would opt for whichever case included that feature and I think it’s worth ~$10 extra. The trackpad is responsive, although unless I’m trying to pack very light, I usually bring a wireless BT mouse with me. The keyboard is tactile and not too compact, but we’ll see how the keys hold up. There’s some flexibility to the board. Most importantly though, the keyboard has RGB backlit keys with shinethrough caps so you can use this in dimly lit rooms at night without needing a night table light on to see what you're pressing. I really appreciate the backlighting. It does drain the battery faster though, so I only use the lighting mode at night.

I'm so pleased with this iPad case and keyboard! The Bluetooth keyboard works amazingly well, and the case is super robust and protective. The styling is really nice, too. Everything feels strong and high-quality. I highly recommend this!

I like that it is sturdy and holds the iPad well, the key board is responsive and pairs right away. It is bulkier and adds a little weight but I have another case for when I need it to be more lightweight and compact.

This “CHESONA for iPad Pro 11 Inch Case with Keyboard (M4) 2024, Magnetic Detachable Keyboard with Backlit, 2 Bluetooth Channels, Touchpad & Pencil Holder, Precise Cutouts Case for iPad Pro 11'', Black” is not our first iPad case with keyboard, but it’s our first in this particular style.Initial reactions Nate that it’s frustrating to actually get the iPad fit into the case, but with enough patience and struggling (but with a gentle touch so as not to break anything) I finally got it in. This means that it’ll be hard to remove it and refit if needed. (And I did double check that it’s the iPad model is one of the corresponding models). On the plus side I guess this means is very secure.Apart from that frustration, it was very easy to set-up, the user manual is useful and straightforward, but the main thing you really need is to know is what’s needed to pair the Bluetooth (Function + Q or Function + W)It’s only after set-up that I then noticed that the keyboard has to be repositioned each time you’re ready to shut the case, unlike my other magnetic keyboard/case. Presumably you would need the iPad to be propped up but you can’t simply flip it open and use the keyboard, as the keyboard covers the groves on the mat that the iPad needs to sit in to be propped up. On a good note, the keyboard is quite lightweight and easy to reposition, the case and keyboard are very magnetic and the keyboard will stay wherever it’s placed on the mat.The keyboard itself is very smooth and easy to use, too soon to comment on battery life, but for the moment, I’m happy with this case. For the difficulty in fitting the iPad and the design, I give this 4 stars.

Soft, lightweight but sturdy, I like that I can remove the keyboard and it still works! This is great.

This Bluetooth iPad keyboard is great. It connects easily to my iPad via Bluetooth and the typing has no lag. I am using it to type this review without any issues. It is obviously not as comfortable to use as a computer keyboard because the size is limited by the size of the iPad. But as far as iPad-sized keyboards go, I really like this one. The keys are responsive with a good depth of feedback so you always know when a button has been pressed adequately. The aesthetic matches that of an apple product and the backlight adds a fun touch and allows it to be seen clearly in low light. The purple glow on the black keyboard looks really good. The case feels heavier than it needs to be. It’s no more protective than any other case but is quite a bit heavier. I’m sure that has to do with the fact that it needs to be strong enough of a magnetic surface to strongly grip the keyboard, but you do need to keep that extra weight in mind if you plan to carry the keyboard + case around with you.I don’t really feel that the touchpad is necessary considering the iPad is touch-screen. I can only see it being useful if for some reason the touch-screen is out of arm’s reach while using the ipad, and I’m not sure how often that would happen? It adds an extra 2 oz weight and quite a bit of size vs. The same brand’s keyboard with out the touchpad, so again if you are travelling, I don’t feel the extra weight is worth it. But if that’s a feature that you are interested in and will use, it does work well. The manual comes with a description of the different gestures.
