This is a good pump .My second oneThe first worked well for 3 years in a Chevy sb application as a daily driver with cooling issues.I switched to electric so that I would have cooling after the moter was turned off.To cool it down after the drive.And I went electric to get the horses for the driving rather than the cooling pump mechanical.I would often forget and leave the electric pump on for many hours .I need a relay with a shut off timer for what I am doing.15 mins 30 mins and then auto off in case I forget.That first pump was abused .My motor overheated many many times due to other unrelated issues .But those issues contributed to the catastrophic failure of the pump.Inside when I took the old one apart was corrosion very bad and the entire inside was rusted with one brush wire broken and with a very raty and irredeemable punishment it went through.It still ran for 3 years .This new pump is on with all my overheating issues seemingly repairedI added a transmission cooler with its own fan, and newer electric fans in my engine radiator.So I'm hoping this new pump may go further than 3 years and if I find a timed relay then it truly should get better longevity.I think the hot pressures of the overheats pressed steam inside where it shouldn't have been .The pumps seem to be well protected and insulated with high quality bushing seals and bearings if used in a heat moderate condition.I like the pump and the price is good.Thanks

You might want to get the 3 inch to 3/4 x 1 1/8 hose fitting. It only came with the 4 block bolts and washers, you will need the alternator bracket. From center to center of inlet holes is 8 1/8 inches. It was a direct replacement from my old csr electric water pump so my existing bracket and spacers worked perfect. I put up some pics so u all could see. What was on the main page was vague so I thought this would help. Good luck

this will not work with the icb bracket they recommend. the spacers are to thick. the allen head bolts on the alternator side hit the spacers. i had to put shorter hex bots in for clearance. and top spacer needed to be replaced with a slimmer one.

Did not work with my alternator mount very good had to use 2 side mount short head bolts and grind my alternator mount tubes,and grind a little at base of water pump
