The Colapz 1.9 US Gallon (7L) Watering Can and 2.4 US Gallon (9L) bucket is perfect for all your storage needs. It’s made from FDA food grade materials, ensuring that it’s safe for dispensing liquids. You can take water straight from a faucet or spigot and store in the dispenser until you need it with no risk of leaks. The joints are electronically welded together for extra strength and security. The collapsible watering can is UV resistant, keeping it from drying out or fading in summer, and frost-proof too. It won’t stain either and it’s designed to last. This is a very nifty and cleverly-designed watering can, I just love it. The only deficiency I can see is that there doesn't seem to be a way of securely storing the cap in the base without it falling out (used for the bucket configuration) when converting it to a watering can with spout. Or maybe I'm just dumb, not sure. Anyway, it's not a big thing so long as I'm careful not to lose the cap should I change it over to a bucket again.

This newer version has an additional piece of hose for the spout that allows you to fill the jug to the top. I don’t like the fact that the elastic cord that holds the folded bucket together is detached from the item. Sure to lose that. In the previous Incarnation the cord was left attached to the bucket when unfolding.

It states "outdoor" in the description, but I will be using them (I purchased 2, and am very happy that I did) indoors. They are a dark gray; and while they are not HUGE watering cans (as most outdoor ones are), they are substantial enough to hold enough water to be able to easily water many plants. As I said, they are not as large as a typical outdoor watering can, but they are a decent size and less cumbersome. It seems they easily fold / twist back down for storage IF that is what you want to do between waterings. Most likely, I will keep them filled with water; but it is a nice feature IF I do ever decide to store them with my other plant equipment.

This is the perfect thing for the patio boxes at my shop because we can just tuck it away during the winter months when we don’t need it. Storage is at a premium, so it’s nice to not have to find space for a big regular watering can.

The spout stays so close to the bucket that it is difficult to pour. It feels all loosely goosey. I don’t like the spout end either as it is not fine enough and overwhelmed some of my more tender plants.Do yourself a favour and skip this bucket and buy a regular solid watering bucket.

This product does several jobs well while reducing storage space and made of soft material which doesn’t scratch or otherwise damage items it contacts.
