Working on forms isn't the easiest life imaginable for a pair of pliers. Knipex is world renowned for their quality and this tool exemplifies why. The cutting blades have no marks from use and the tool provides more than enough leverage for concrete work. No guarantee you can't damage the cutter. Just use them where appropriate. You're not going to be cutting through rebar with these.
