I loved my previous versions of this water bottle. I hate this one. It auto syphons fluid out onto my desk and makes a horrid noise when you suck on the spout. The straw seals against the bottom of the bottle and can block fluid. I would not recommend.

It leaks unless you have everything exactly as it needs to be. You have to use the tube for it to work properly but then you can't get all the drink out. If you remove the tube to drink up the last it leaks everywhere. The locking mechanism was cool at first but then it stopped working.I'm very disappointed with this Contigo product. I would buy something else if there's any chance you'll knock this over or drop it.

I’ve had this issue with a lot of enclosed straw water bottles, every so often when you open the spout it will squirt water out at you due to pressure. But it holds up pretty well, I’ve dropped it multiple times.
