Continental bought the GATERBACK version (criss-cross pattern) of the fan belt business from Good Year, but made the belt thinner, softer and apparently much less durable than the Good Year Gaterback a few years ago. What a way to kill a great brand ! I used to get over 100,000 miles regularly out of a Good Year Gaterback belt, and at one time Good Year had a lifetime warranty of its Gaterback belt. It will be lucky if I can get 60,000 out of this Continental belt.

I bought this belt a year ago and I need a new one so I just go to my history in Amazon and I click the belt again and now its saying it does not fit my vehicle if its the same exact vehicle
