I broke two of these. First one tugging on a bush, I'll take the blame on that one. But really disappointed when it broke with 5k lbs on it.

I bought this thinking I would interchange with my 10" drop hitch. I wanted to put one size ball on the ball hitch and another size ball on the original ball hitch. Quick and easy pull a couple of pins on the receiver replace one ball hitch with another with different size ball. Put the two pins in and I can pull a different trailer. The ball hitch receivers are compact and easier to carry than another large receiver assembly. But a good idea fails when the Convert a ball hole pattern doesn't come close to matching my receiver hitch.

I needed a low hitch for my little trailer, I have a 9 1/2 inch drop hitch but with my weight distribution hitch the trailer rode too high (Ram 3500 4x4) this is perfect and rated for 10,000 #s.

This was the exact piece I needed to turn an extra WDH shank in to a useful piece for my truck. Instead of using the pins I used 3/4 inch grade 8 bolts and it all bolted up nicely. Ball height should be perfect for my 2500 4x4. Good price and quick delivery.Finally got a chance to use this and the height is perfect. Now I get a full 6 inches of drop and the trailer sits level and pulls easy. Should work for my boat also.

I bought this along with (Convert-A-Ball AM-A-C-1 Cushioned Adjustable Hitch Bar, Convert-A-Ball 902B Stainless Steel 1" Standard Shank with 1-7/8", 2" and 2-5/16" Ball, Convert-A-Ball 004B 3 Ball Plastic Storage Box, and the Convert-A-Ball Shank Cover). All were purchased here on Amazon. My Dad had the Convert a Ball set up for well over 30 years and never has one failed. He still uses them to this day. I drive a Ford 1-50 with a small lift so the adjustablity of this set up is perfect for every situation. I have owned many diferent trucks and I take this set up with me everytime. Seller was great, fast shipping, item was exactly as described.
