After stupidly losing the key to my wheel locks I purchased another removal tool which worked once on one wheel and after repeated tries on the other 3 wheels I returned the tool and bought this one! Within 30 minutes of receiving the new tool the remaining 3 locks were gone. The removal is easy with an impact tool. Getting the socket to let go of the removed lock was the harder part. The reverse threads on this tool really grab and hold. I finally clamped the lock/socket in a vice and with a 24" breaker bar got the socket to release. The concept and engineering behind these extractors is superb and BTW my lug nuts and locks are torqued to 140 ft lbs making this a serious test of the tool.

This set has more of an internal threading instead of the curved internal flutes of the other style. Works better I think. Not too thick to fit into tight lug bores. Use an impact gun for best results.

After somehow ending up with an empty bag in the glove box where the lug nut key was supposed to be, and needing my tires replaced, I turned to this product. It worked exactly as advertised, and quickly too. It took all four off, and still looks like it could work well on dozens more. The only thing I would recommend is be sure to have a vise handy. This thing bites into those lug nut locks hard, and a vise helps get them back out of the tool. Highly recommend!

So works amazing one thing to note is that if you look up videos on like you tube on this they will show you to bang it on first with a hammer so you can do that but they will not last as long and also it’s a lot of work you can just go up one size although it seems big and loose once you start impacting it gets tighter and tighter and then takes it off one thing I noticed is that it doesn’t work good with a high torque impact wrench it slips but you can start with a mid torque and if after you tighten with that it doesn’t come off you can switch to a high torque and if all you have is a high torque or you don’t have a impact wrench at all then it’s good to be hard

I bought a used truck that had wheel locks and the key in the glove box was stripped out and useless. I got these and it took all 4 of them off. On the last lug nut the actual lug nut sheared in half rendering the socket useless for the future, but it got the job done. I would buy again if ever needed. I used an impact wrench. I don't know if it would work without one.
