Ball mounts are robotically welded to ensure accurate, consistent cuts and clean, strong weld lines. Once welded, these mounts undergo a process that creates a flawless surface for the application of highly durable Curt powder coat finish. Class II ball mounts are for 1-1/4 inches x 1-1/4 inches receiver tubes and are rated at 3,500 pounds gross trailer weights.

This is a great bar/ball combo. First install is tight. I applied some grease and smacked it in with a rubber mallet. Towed my trailer behind my forester on a 600 mile round trip without issue. Once back home I was able to easily pull the bar/ball combo out of my receiver. I have used this several times now for long trips without issue. Bar does not rattle in the receiver and the roads I drive on are basically frozen corn fields!

Just what I needed. I used this on my 1.25 inch receiver and installed the ball mount upside down to provide 2" of lift so my trailer tows level. Simple, correct towing capacity and it was delivered on time.
