Everything snapped together after a few attempts. My issue was poor alignment of the hole with my existing key, and I had to drill a deeper hole and use a longer screwdriver (for more torque). The screw is quite long. I used a 1/16 drill bit, as recommended by another reviewer. The provided screwdriver is junk. The plastic is poor quality and flexible. The original plastic cover keeps the key firmly in place when you turn the key. This one flexes. I would have paid more if there had been a better quality case for twice the price. Another plus is that I utilized the second screw (for the second case), and the drilling technique, to repurpose my original Honda shell case.

This s a great product, yet you must read instructions carefully! The first set I purchased was not put together correctly. I followed the instructions exactly as noted, bad set. So I got a replacement, and before I put my key into it, I check to make sure the plastic part where the key connects was correctly fitted and it was. So before you put your key into the little piece...just to make sure the boat looking peace fit it! This is much stronger than the one I got from the dealership. Thank you...saved me a lot of money on a replacment.

Only thing is need instruction sheet, push bottom inside then push the rest together. Great replacements. Fit very well. Bought wrong one but still quality is good.

Fit perfectly and took less than 5 minutes to swap out the key components. I even peeled off the Honda logo off the old key and glued it in the provided recess on the new one. Awesome and cheap fix.

2012 Civic. Key was falling apart. Took a little bit to get it to snap closed, very tight fit. Happy with the price and quality. Inexpensive fix.

Very good price at 2 for $8. Missing a slot for the chip which is separate from the button part. You just lay the chip alongside the button/battery transponder. DON'T miss the chip you; probably will have to dig it out of your old key. The machine screw/bolt is a pointed M2 at 5mm. It does fit perfectly in the original fob too.Look for the many you-tube instruction videos. One probably isn't enough since some don't mention the CHIP which is ABSOLUTELY crucial & hidden.
