I picked up this inner tie rod removal tool for a front-end job, and let me tell you it worked well. I’ve done these removals before and used pipe wrenches which seemed to work really well. This tool is great because it has many different size fittings that are shaped like an open end box wrench. It give you a nice extended reach to break it loose. If you’ve ever tried removing an inner tie rod without one of these, you know how frustrating it can be. The extra leverage makes a big difference.Build quality is decent. The metal feels sturdy enough, and it didn’t flex under pressure. It connected right up, input a socket ratchet on the end and use a cheater bar to crank it off with no problems. Putting it back on was just as easy getting it tight with no problem. One thing to note: This tool works best when used with a breaker bar rather than just a ratchet. The added torque helps, especially if the tie rod is seized up. Also, make sure the adapter size matches your tie rod. It comes with a bunch of different sizes.Bottom line is this is a handy tool that can save a lot of time and frustration. I can say it’s a great addition to the toolbox and I wish I had one sooner

Very heavy all metal item. The bar itself has a half inch drive at one end and the other end has the housing for the separate sizing attachments. Each attachment secures into the bar by a simple sliding metal band. The case seems better than most, the clips in particular are a decent design.I appreciate that there are many sizes of the attachment parts to suit most vehicles. The case design is simple enough making each attachment easily accessible and each one is marked with it's sizing (as pictured).Overall i think this will suit most people's needs as the range of attachments included, as mentioned should cater for most models of vehicles. A heavy item that's clearly been designed to last. Good bar, good attachments, good case with good clips.

The item is not compatible with any tie rods as the center point does not have equal distance to every edge causing it to jam.The lock is pointless as it's impossible to put on and off while on the car and is machined to a fine tolerance so the adaptor doesn't practically fit In the lock. This product is not value for money and do not buy it unless you have a way to adapt the adaptors.
