Bought as a gift for my 12 year old son who loves Michael Keaton's Batman movies and also collects these kind of figures. Safe to say he absolutely loved it, the details were awesome and it looks really cool on display.

Awesome figure that comes with plenty of accessories and different hands. Displays very nicely. Only issue is the cowl and head movement. Not like the movie cowl.

1989 Batman is awesome, usually a good quality figure. The Box was absolutely d a m a ged as they stuffed it in a tiny box with no packing in it. Literally the top of the box was folded down to fit inside of a much smaller box. So to a box collector it's useless. Very good figure other than that.

The figure itself is great except it dosen't look like Keaton much and the cowl has a neck articulation so it's not accurate to the real thing. I can live with that but the cape ruined it all. It is absolutely horrible. Cheap material, looks and feels like nylon, no wire and it was ment to be spread wide open with the handles. If you let it loose on the figure it will look ridiculous. One weird thing, it's green. It has a tint of green in the black on the legs and torso. You can clearly see it if you put it under a bright light and you campare it to another black figure. My first idea was to get this figure for the accessories and use them with the Batman that came with the Batmobile and put this Batman in the Batmobile instead but I can't even do that because the hands on the Batmobile Batman are not removable. Still a great figure but only if you can't afford the 6 pack or the Batmobile. Oh and yes, in the 1989 movie, the belt is indeed a gold yellowish color and a little bit more faded than the bat symbol on his chest.

Holding this figure and placing the cape in the outstretched position brought a lot of nostalgia. Although this figure may not have the movie accurate stiff cowl, this 89 Batman made me feel like 6 years old watching the Burton film for the first time. There are other more Keaton like figures running higher prices but this figure checks all the boxes. Worth the price and really happy to have it on display. McFarlane really knocks these things out of the park. Glad it’s available here in Canada.

The Batman 1989 has been in my childhood ever since I saw this movie on VHS during the great 90s era. Been a fav of Batman ever since then. And then this Action Figure set from the Mcfarlane toy company announce they are making the Batman 89 figure. It was a big time grab for me and to add to my collection. I already gotten the Batmobile from the movie. But not a single toy figure of Batman himself. And now I got him and he looks amazing. I bought a second for me to keep and will be opening up the spare when it comes. So if you are a collector of this toy series, go for it. Batman 1989 will forever be my favorite movie of all time. And the toy as well. And remember one little detail..." I'm Batman"
