Note:
The engine barring tool must be removed from the timing case before starting the engine. Failure to do so could damage the flywheel ring gear.?
1. Remove the two bolts and the barring tool from the flywheel housing. It is not necessary to remove the pin.
2. Install the inspection cover on the flywheel housing with the two bolts. Tighten the bolts.

I didn't expect too much from a cheap tool. The keystock sheared under normal use. Just soft iron. I can easily fix this but still a pain. I just went to a dealership and bought the real thing.

Works for both Detroit and Mercedes 4000 engines - does not come with the extra long mounting bolts so you’ll need to source those out yourself - otherwise works as intended
