I bought this because it was 1/2 inch line the only thing 1/2 inch is the NPT fitting, the fittings choke the hose ID down to 1/4 inch,anyone knowing anything about air hoses knows whats the point of even using this with half inch air lines

It does not matter how large the ID is on an air line is if the fittings restrict air flow. By the time your tool cycles, you can't keep the pressure steady at the tool due to low volume. Nails will not set to a consistent depth, for example. Buy a Flexzilla whip instead of this. The Flexzilla has 3/8" ID fittings instead of these small 1/4". It makes a huge difference.

I ordered this hose specifically because someone said it had dual swivels. It does not and Dewalt, if you are listening, if you made a whip with dual swivels, I would gladly pay twice the price. Instead I had to solder in a union and spent more time and money. Otherwise, the hose is.......well, a hose.
