Finally a hose that fits the 1162 Lincoln grease gun. Compared to the original that came with the 1162, it's much more pliable, almost too much. The extra length is what I was mainly after.The fitting sizes are 7/16-28 UNEF and 1/8" NPTF.I'm taking a full star off because it didn't come with a new copper seal washer. I looked at at least 6 different places that sell industrial fittings, seals, hardware and could not find one.If you decide to get the Lincoln 1236 1230 or 1224 hoses you'll find they arrive tightly coiled and knotted into a spring like shape. It will want to remain in that spring like shape. So imagine unwinding the spring to get the coupler on the zerk, lube, then have the hose snap back into it's spring like shape flinging grease all over the place. The dewalt will also arrive coiled into a spring like shape but, because the hose is pliable, it doesn't have the tendency to want to retain that shape.

The Hose is very flexible and I like the reinforced ends. It protects from kinking and gives you some bulk in your hand when pushing onto fittings. Mind you I will be using this on my JD garden tractor and on my cars at home and it will not be bouncing around in a service truck or getting heavy use. The hose is not a heavy walled and stiff like what I have been use to. I will be replacing the coupler with a " LockNlube coupler " to cut down on grease waste. I bought this to use on my Lincoln pistol grip manual grease gun based on an answer in the " questions " area for this hose. I was able to use a 1/8" npt die on the end that goes into the gun. It is a heavy wall nipple end so cutting a thread did not weaken it at all. So the hose will work in a manual grease gun with a little effort and NO FAULT to the hose.
