It bolts on quickly and works well for the applications that I want to keep the dust down. If you want the most agility with this router I don’t recommend any attachments.

Easy install and fits well. I'm using on my DeWalt router that I have mounted in a DIY router table. I made the table so that this could be used to reduce dust. It works attached to one of my shop vacs. Well worth the price.

This is a must for any router, fits the Dewalt good. I'm suprised they made it as an accessory, it's a pretty complicated design. It's not perfect dust collection of course but it does what any router dust collection should. The two bolts vibrate loose easily so I put blue thread locker on to tighten them up. That should have been on them from the start.

Advertised as an option but couldn't find any for over a year (come on DeWalt a little quicker on the supply please) it works very well and makes my lungs (and mask) happy

I liked this product in theory, but in use it was a different story. You lose most visibility of your bit once this is installed, but more importantly is the dust collection. If your dust is just fine chips, it works well. I was using it while routing a groove lengthwise in board and it kept plugging with longer shavings after a few seconds of use. If the screw in the centre of the dust collection pathway wasn’t there it would be a great product, but as it is the screw just creates a plug point. I returned it.

Excellent job at dust collection. If you are working free hand following a line it is difficult to see the bit compared to your line.

The adapter is relatively easy to install and does a very good job of collecting both most of the dust and the cuttings from the compact router. The small diameter of the exit port on the adapter does require you to shop for the appropriate type and correct size of tubing to connect it to either your dust collection system or your shop vac.
