I went through 4-5 other styles that weren't good before finding these, and these are excellent!The zipper is 2-way (unzips top to bottom like usual, and also opens bottom to top for a mans quick bathroom trip). It's a high quality brass one that zips and unzips easily.The fabric has a little stretch...any more, and I don't think it would be as durable. Easy to squat without pulling up the legs as I have had to do with other brands. I'd call the fabric medium weight because you can't see through it at all, it feels strong, but it also breathes very well (I get hot easily).I'm 5'11,180, 32" waist/42 chest, and the Medium fits perfectly. I'm a Medium in all shirts not designed in Asia, so that's a good gauge if you feel confused about size. I don't wear these over clothes, just fully commando with socks and shoes. If you want them to wear over a shirt and pants, you will need a larger size.After ordering and wearing one at work, I ordered 2 more exactly the same for backup. The last coveralls I loved are no longer being made. If any of these wear out, I'll want to order the same again.These have all the quality and durability you should expect from Dickies, and the style/fit is perfect!

I bought them for a costume and now I use them when working on my vehicles. Works great, comfy, solid quality. I will say one thing and it’s not the coveralls fault, the short sleeves make it a little harder to remove them once you’re done. I’m used to long sleeves at work and it’s easier to pull the arm sleeves to undress. However, the sizing was perfect for me.

What is Flex supposed to mean if the material doesn't stretch?Material is very thin, and the zipper is big, coarse and metallic, not at all like the zipper on other Dickie's short-sleeve coverall I have, which is nylon and, imho, preferable.

The coveralls fit fairly well except the zipper should go a bit higher to aid in putting on and off.

I am 5'3 and ~180lbs and carry a lot of weight around my waist. I got the L Short. Straight out of the packaging the waist was a little low, crotch slightly droopy. The fabric was also very stiff and felt heavy. Though the tag says to not use dryer sheets, I washed on warm and then dried with 2 fabric softening sheets. The result is a soft, lighter weight fabric, and the fit was better as they shrank slightly. They're still a little loose but that's how I like them. So if you feel the fit is strange, try washing and drying with fabric softener sheets.

I am almost 6 feet tall and weigh 200 lbs. I have 36 inch waist and a 30 inch inseam. The regular large fit as if tailor made. I was concerned that they might shrink when washing. There appears to be none. They still fit perfectly after washing. Wash warm and dry low heat for 30 min. The legs were too long and need to be fixed and they are a little tight putting them on. They look nice and I just ordered another pair. Would recomend.

Bought this for a costume, initially. As a person with wide hips and a narrower chest, it didn't fit great, but I made it work. Now I use it for work coveralls and it's fine. I would prefer a heavier, more durable fabric, though.

Great purchase for working on cars. The sizing is slightly tight but overall high quality and all around protection of dirt and oil.
