I bought 4 of these and they make all the difference. Thick enough for a 4+hour paddle. Various sized users from a 6'5" 220lb man to a 90lb child. They are comfy for all and hold up well. Case dries fast and grips to stay in place while kayaking. Highly recommend!!

Used it for kayak seat.It's OK, a bit thin for an adult (200lbs) to last all day but worked for the kids.But better than sitting on thin foam plastic stock kayak seats.

The kayak seat is about 15 1/4 (38.7 cm) at its widest by 12.5" (31.7 cm) deep by about 1.5" (4 cm) thick.I was surprised at first that the seat was not blue like the picture, but black. The inside structure is blue and it is covered with a black case with a zipper. The top of the black case is smooth and the bottom has little silicone dots for grip. The inside structure is silicone with one side being octagons and small squares, and the other side being just large squares. By the description, you can use the silicone cushion by itself or with the cloth cover, whichever is more comfortable for you.The nylon drawstring bag that comes with it is 11 3/4" by 16 5/8" (29.9 cm x 42.3 cm), so the seat has to be folded to fit in the bag. If the bag was just slightly bigger, it would fit in fully.I tried this kayak seat out in two different kayaks. The yellow kayak had a seat that was slightly smaller than this cushion. The seat was cracked so the cushion gave a nice surface for sitting on.The other kayak seat was much larger so this cushion would either go at the back or the front, but either way it wouldn't cover the whole area, making it uncomfortable on either the legs or the buttocks.I would recommend this cushion for a seat about the same size, but not one that is larger. I didn't find it extremely comfortable, but it is nice that you can use it on a wet surface like a picnic table and not have to worry about it drying out after. Since it's silicone, the water will just go right through it rather than being absorbed. If the cover is used, it is easily cleaned by hand, and also machine-washable.

The Dinghao Anti-Slip Kayak Gel Seat Cushion Waterproof Thick Kayak Seat Pad is a great all-around seat cushion. I plan on using this as a general camping seat cushion. This is not only great for a canoe or kayak, but it also works nicely as a cushion for a wet picnic table.It has a removable zip-up outer case. The case is lightweight and breathable to allow it to dry easily. The insert is a soft gel that has hexagon ribbing on one side and square ribs on the opposite side. This gives it strength but compressibility. It also allows water to run through it easily if it gets splashed. The gel gets compressed enough that it is quite comfortable on the sit bones.Both the insert and cover are very grippy. The case has rubberized bumps on one side that can be used to grip a canoe seat or a bathing suit, depending on which side you face up.It comes with a pouch that the entire cushion can be carried with.This is a really good cushion for those that enjoy the outdoors.

My wife and I use this on a rowing machine. We each use the machine for 20 to 45 minutes a day. The machine's seat is hard plastic, which makes it uncomfortable. This product provides comfortable padding and does not move while we are rowing. It also breaths well, which is an improvement on the rowing machine's seat.

I have an open kayak with holes in the bottom and I got tired of sitting in a puddle. This seat keeps me above the water and is nice and comfy. It drys quickly as opposed to the other seats with a woven polyester cover. Very happy with purchase!
