Disposable bowls can be a hit and a miss, especially when it comes to what they are made of. Normally I avoid the cardboard style like this as they generally break down as you are trying to use them. Especially when it is a liquid-based item such as things like chili and soup. Also who wants to use the foam the noises they make are awful. Now upon arrival, I was quite shocked with how sturdy these were, they don't bend or flex in any way which is a great sign. They are a decent serving size and will accommodate multiple styles or portions We tested these at a family event and they held up very well regardless of what we placed inside of them. I even did a chili test, I placed a small portion of chili in one of the bowls and left it for a while. I wanted to see if it would start to break down or leak in any way. Not one issue came up, as well all know some guests grab food and place it down and forget, or the little ones take a bit longer to focus on eating. So this is a great sign as it prevents unwanted messes during an event. I also tested one bowl with water to see if just pure liquid would affect it and again no issue at all. These would be great for at-home use when you don't feel like doing the dishes. These are great for a work setting to help fill the kitchen. They would also be great for preschool and classrooms for events at school.
