Had a recent feline rescue come through with SEVERE fur tufting on his back, from shoulder blades to tail. You couldn't possibly trim these things down with scissors if you tried, the way they had tangled into each other- and I had (delicately) tried.Desperate, I bought this. $30-ish, really felt like you couldn't go wrong at that price, and these little clippers blew my expectations out of the water.It's quiet, it's compact, the shape of it helps it glide beneath tough mats or tufts, and it shaved like butter. Didn't catch, absolutely no nicks or little cuts, worked FANTASTIC. I am beyond satisfied with my handy-dandy set of clippers, and the chunky old boy who needed a good trim is looking haggard (I am not a gifted cat-hairstylist) but happy. 10/10, would absolutely recommend.

I purchased this set of clippers for my elderly cat, as he has pretty much stopped grooming himself and is permanently matted. Due to thyroid issues, he is extremely thin now and at almost 18 years old, he doesn't have much tolerance for being brushed or combed. I tried using a de-matting tool but he lasts a couple of minutes and then yowled to be let go. At a loss as to what else to do, I thought this might be a more tolerable option for him. Pleasantly surprised at how well this works. It is fairly quiet, it also seems to not bother him in the slightest in terms of noise or vibration. I have been able to shave out multiple matts of different sizes from my fairly long-haired kitty. It does take a few passes as it's not high-powered, but that is fine, it doesn't need to be. I haven't tried the different attachments as this hasn't been necessary for just removing matting. The battery seems to last well as I haven't needed to recharge it since it arrived. Not sure if would be great for a large shave job, or an all over shave. But for small spots, it is working really well.

Works well for getting out matted fur. It doesn’t work well with the attachments it just gets stuck. It’s light weight and not too noisy.

I asked my dog groomer if she would suggest a trimmer for my dog’s paws. Wanted something I could trim off fur between regular haircuts. She told me they use this brand trimmer for the paws. I ordered it and it is fantastic. Trimmed my dogs fur without harming the skin. Cut the fur off so easily. No more long dirty or wet fur on paws between haircuts. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately I purchased this product a number of months ago..the clippers were used once, worked nicely and the next time we went to use them, they did not work. They had been charged fully before using for the second time and they absolutely would not work at all. Very disappointed in the product.

Our senior cat is long-haired and has very thick/long fur and it can get oily/matted near her tail, hip area and backside. We try to keep up on the brushing but its tough and she can get frisky. These clippers, once charged are spectacular. At first, I thought they looked cheap and are so small. Nonetheless, they do a great job. Waterproof rinsing in the sink is a massive bonus.Our cat is still frisky when trying to shave her but it does an awesome job and doesn't hurt her at all. I got with a coupon and a Black Friday sale but they arrived the next day and are great. Lions cuts are $60+ so, for less than $25bucks, I've saved a few hundred this year. How will they last over time? I'm not sure. But so far they're great, Goose is a little Lion now and I'm happy saving $$. The only downside is how long they take to charge but hey, is their really a rush? Battery life was more than I needed to get a full Lion shave done.
