These work well for me on a variety of surfaces. Nice materials and construction, no rough edges or nasty bits. Will be getting a couple more as needs arise, and the reasonable price is a bonus. Good value for sure.

I needed this stand for my thinline archtop. It's lightweight but sturdy and easy to (dis)assemble, and compact (I carry it in my gig bag). I love it!

Great deal on sale, but overpriced otherwise. Much better than plastic version they offer.

My husband and daughter are musicians which is what prompted this purchase. This lightweight , portable guitar stand fits in a guitar case to go along to performances. It is light but also sturdy - it folds up with some easy disassembly but just as easy to put together again. My husband replaced a much heavier stand and he highly recommends this one.

Just got my third - excellent for home or studio use - fine on larger stages but beware cramped spaces as the instrument is not super-secure (no floor stand is really). It's a very clever design, folds away easily, super lightweight and the supports grip the guitar or bass very well. Many other stands have shaped bottom supports which means they work for an acoustic or an electric but now so well both/either. Another common issue is Jazz Bass - the tone knob hits many supports and causes problems with the tone pot. The Donner takes JBs perfectly, so offset bodies are fine.Really well made, amazing value and a brilliant stand for versatile and general use. Given no floor stand is really safe on a crowded busy stage, these are my first choice. Just take care to place away from careless traffic.

Simple to use, lightweight, a fair price. However if I had an expensive guitar might consider something a bit more up market.

Best guitar holder I’ve ever bought. Easy to fold and really handy.

Pleased with this little travel stand, compact lightweight and easy to fold away, fits nicely into the front pouch of a guitar case. Despite it being compact and light it does seem to to be fairly sturdy and secure, have used it with both acoustic and a heavy Gibson electric both of which seem to be supported adequately by the stand. A small travel bag would have useful and got it a fifth star.

I purchased a couple of these stands to place in front of my guitar amps for temporary stowage. Very lightweight - almost too lightweight, but work as intended.

I've been using cheap plastic foldable guitar stand that my favourite electric guitar's been sitting on and I got so worried that had to find affordable guitar stand that would be very sturdy and nice looking and found these! I bought two and it came with pieces that I can easily put together with a snap of finger. They are very sturdy and stylish! My living room feels more alive now. I am getting another one for my strat next. Note: Make sure that where rubber pads are on the foldable legs faces forward..... . Not that hard.Update 2019/12/29:Just got the wooden guitar stand from Donner and they are not that sturdy at all. Kind of sturdy but overall built quality is horrible!! I had to cut the padding manually to place the guitar because they were unevenly cut so I could not assemble them which the instruction doesn't say much about. The stand doesn't hold well as the guitar padding always becomes loose every time use and I have to tighten up which is really annoying. Donner needs to make it so the padding is built on to the resting feet so that it doesn't loosen itself every time use. The wooden guitar stand is the worst one I've got so far and I am worried that it might break off over time.

This item is not expensive but is high quality. This stand is very sturdy and does not move around thanks to the powerful rubber. There is no rocking or movement. The guitar never touches any metal (this includes the back which has a pad on the one small spot that contacts the guitar, which someone said in a review was not attached). the center piece folds and opens at varying angles for different size guitars. It holds my heavy, large Gretsch resonator guitar, my dulcimer, my regular size Yamaha, 3/4 size Yamaha acoustic/electric and even my small traveler guitar. To sum up, it won't wobble, it won't scratch and it will hold various size instruments. It is also very light weight and takes up little room when packed up for traveling. Hope that info helps for anyone considering this item. Just remember that like any other stand the guitar is not locked in and could be knocked over if hit. Great buy for the money!

Great product and value for money! Easy to assemble and disassemble (which is great for carrying around). Very lightweight and sturdy due to aluminum build. Solid build, very stable and it doesn't slip at all with normal use. The design saves a lot of space and it's very neat, specially because it doesn't have an arm. There is rubber in the entire extension of the base parts that are in contact with the instrument and also a pad on the back where the instrument rests. I'm using to hold a Fender Mustang and it's seating steadily there. Very easy to remove/place guitar back.I don't know if I would use it on stage due to the fact that it has no arm/lock, but for home/studio it's great!
