I had a leaky drain plug with crush washers. After replacing with these, the extra rubber seal has eliminated the leak. Will not hestitate to buy more when i run out.

They're cheap in price, but good quality. They keep the juice in the hole where it belongs. Nobody likes discharge all over their driveway.

Most people don't change these. Change this for an excellent factory fit. I replace about every other time I change oil and there is always a good seal so the driveway and garage floor stay clean.

I have been working on cars for 57 years and stumbled upon these about 12 years ago.They completely stop any drips in the oil drain plug area on imperfect plug/pan mating surfaces...I do not use the 'crush washer' type oil plug washers any more!It was surprising to see that these are now OEM equipment on some of the newer cars.Now, it is just a matter of cost.If the price continues to drop, then I can continue to use new ones, rather than carefully clean and reuse the old ones, as they aren't cheap.

Love these! I use them to seal oil plugs, they seal better than the plastic washers and the metal keeps the rubber from distending under torque.
