To start, bolt hole treads are offset on both ends. Steering rack end fit on splines but end of spline is taller and where the bolt goes through is not true like OEM. Had to grind down stub on two points where knuckle would hit the end of the spline. Not a huge change to make if you have the right tools to get into tight spaces. OEM parts are expensive but usually Dorman has a good product. Still expensive for aftermarket. Shall see how long this part lasts. If you are a back yard mechanic this may be more a hassle to do. A qualified mechanic with the correct tools can make this work. This was put on a 2009 Camry. Auto part stores call for the same part number, same Dorman part. Amazon sells this for a lot less money then auto part stores which is usually well over 200 dollars. Disappointed with Dorman. Would not purchase again.

07 Lexus ES350, steering was creaking, and popping. Replaced steering shaft, car steers and feels like new again.

Purchased this for my 2010 Camry. Fit was perfect! Wife was very pleased the knocking sound is gone! It also was CONSIDERABLY cheaper than local auto parts store.Tip: to remove from bottom spline, jack up front end of car, use a long pipe or crow bar as a punch tool and knock it off the spline from underneath. Shaft will compress and you can remove easily off steering wheel spline.
